E-8P Style Foot Dual Brake Control Valve
Dual Circuit Foot Brake Control Valve.
The E-8P style dual foot brake valves are double circuit valves.
When the driver applies the brakes through the pedal, a part of the two pistons moves inside the brake valve, closing the valve exhaust and opening ducts inside it that release the air pressure contained towards the rear and front brake systems.
The pressure quickly increases in the brake chambers and applies a force to the push rod transferring the force to the S-Cam or air disc brakes.
When the driver withdraws the force applied to the brake valve, the internal spring returns to its position original and allows the release of the air contained in the valve and in the delivery lines through the exhaust port. Normally, the control valves are installed on the floor and operated by pedal.
